Meet Cimi

Painter, sculptor and muralist. Her work blends emotion, nature and imagination into every brushstroke — authentic, culturally rooted, and full of life.

01

The story

It started with a wall

Cimi has been painting for as long as she can remember — first on paper, then on canvas, and eventually on walls big enough to be seen from across the street.

What began as a private habit turned into a practice: murals for schools and community spaces, canvases for collectors, sculpture and props for stage and screen.

02

The process

Slow looking, fast hands

Every piece starts the same way — sitting with the subject long enough to find what matters about it. The painting itself comes quickly once that part is settled.

Materials shift to suit the work: acrylic and spray for scale, oil and ink for intimacy, papier-mâché and found objects when a piece needs to leave the wall entirely.

03

The vision

Art that teaches something

Much of the studio's work sits alongside education and awareness projects — pieces made with communities rather than simply for them.

The aim is straightforward: leave a place better looking, and leave the people in it with something to think about.
